The Old Town

Worth seeing is the entire complex of the Old Town with its narrow streets, old burghers'houses and arcades. Where the Herzog-Friedrich-Straße widens out into a Square is the symbol of Innsbruck, the Goldene Dachl - The Golden Roof. It may be that the world is more famous than the Christmas markets of Innsbruck. But do not think anyone takes place against a fascinating backdrop. In the medieval and picturesque old town with its arcades and ancient houses and at the foot of the famous Golden Roof, you will find a Christmas market with alpine character, whose origins go back a long time.
