THE PERSEUS WITH THE HEAD OF MEDUSA
Located to the left of the Loggia della Signoria is the bronze statue of the Perseus, one of the best works by Benvenuto Cellini. The statue represents the hero of Greek mythology raising the decapitated head of Medusa.
