The “Marriage Carousel” created by Prof. Jurgen Weber, according to a poem by Hans Sachs in 1541: “Bitter-Sweet Married Life.”
The Marriage Carousel Fountain – Nuremberg, Germany
Heilig-Geist-Spital, Spitalgasse, am Hans-Saschs-Platz. The hospital was endowed by the Nuremberg merchant Konrad Gross in 1331. It serverd as lodging for the old and needy who, in return, had to pray for the soul of the benefactor several times a day. From 1424 to 1796 the Imperial Crown Jewels (crown, orb, sceptre) were kept here. — Building On The Water.
