The City of Zagreb confirms the official season from 28 November 2026 to 7 January 2027. A warm-up period is planned for 25–27 November, but is not the official opening. Individual venues and activities have separate schedules.

Advent Zagreb is a festive programme across several public spaces in Zagreb, not one market with a single entrance and identical opening hours. Its appeal comes from moving between different settings, with food, music and seasonal decoration forming parts of the wider visit.
A citywide programme
Earlier editions described by Zagreb Tourist Board included Zrinjevac, King Tomislav Square, European Square and Upper Town locations. These provide context for the event's character, but they should not be read as a confirmed list of every venue in the current programme.
Once the detailed edition programme is available, choose a small number of stops rather than assuming all venues can be covered comfortably in one evening. Leave room for the walk between locations and for activities with a specific starting time.
Season dates are not every venue's timetable
The city's announced opening and closing dates define the overall season. Individual stalls, concerts and attractions can follow different schedules. The planned warm-up period is also separate from the official opening.
Check the current venue programme before booking a trip around one performance or activity. Dates crossing into January remain part of the same Advent edition.
